"Overall, we enjoyed living in these modern, clean, attractive, pet-friendly apartments and the neighborhood seemed safe and friendly for daily walking and running, despite what the internet has to say about Huntington Station's safety. There was plenty of parking and even room to have guests park in the lot as well. Any concerns or issues with the apartment were taken care of immediately, and the owner and staff were friendly and easy to deal with. I never felt unsafe or experienced anything being stolen from our outdoor area or vehicles. Our biggest complaints have little to do with the actual apartment complex, but I wanted to note them in case it helps future tenants to have a better experience: Our broker was manipulative, misled us about certain details, had little knowledge of the apartment, was bossy and sent unsolicited texts and emails regarding her optimum connection, and the broker fee was overpriced. To be honest, even having a broker fee is silly because it's so easy to list and find apartments online now and bypass the whole broker thing altogether. Wish the building was a little more sound proof-- our next door neighbors (just them, not all neighbors) and people gathering outside were loud almost every day, making it hard to work from home or enjoy a peaceful environment. I would also have preferred to have recycling available onsite. We were willing to collect and drive ours to the recycling center, but most people would just throw away plastic and cardboard in the trash. Overall, though, the apartment was great."
