Special kudos to one of the maintenance team members who helped us recently, Ramel. He does his job with a smile on his face and seems very proud to be here. Clare in the management leasing office is a super star as well — she graciously helped handle every request we’ve had and is a pleasure to work with."

"This location is amazing and you get a lot of home for your buck. Although you may not get in contact with the rental office immediately they make it their business to ensure the residents are attended to. Maintenance workers like Daniel V are very helpful and go above and beyond. Daniel makes sure he fixes the concern placed through the resident app immediately without hesitation. He is friendly and has never made it seem as if the residents are a bother. He also does his job very well. Thus far the neighbors are great. Everyone is in their home and friendly. Not a complaint , yet!"

"My husband & I recently sold our home on Long Island after 28 years- I feel so lucky & happy to have found this lovely community- the Melville Avalon staff has made our transition seamless The office staff has been friendly, knowledgeable & available for every concern of ours- Stephen & Mary Ellen are the best! The real heroes are Gary & Danny & the entire maintenance staff!! They have been so responsive for all the little things that have come up & Follow thru until the job is done! Most recently we had a heat issue- both Gary & Danny kept on it morning & evening until the heat worked properly! There really seems to be nothing that they can’t handle & always polite & with a smile! We are truly enjoying our new home in this very friendly community- thanks everyone!"

"My wife and I stayed here for 6 months while working in the area. The apartment was freshly painted and the carpet in the bedroom was brand new. The vinyl plank flooring looked new as well. Kitchen was very nice with great cabinet space and new appliances. We had a latch problem with the washer and they fixed it the same day! Pool is nice , gym is nice, and the grounds are kept up well. We were also surprised at how quiet it was for an apartment , sleeping was easy. Thank you to the Avalon team for a very nice living experience."
