"They called me and left a message saying my phone was ready for pick up when I was ready. When I arrive two days later, they had no replacement and stated Apple sent the wrong phone after talking with Apple care. Apple said they never sent any phone out for my account and geek squad wasn’t giving me the correct information. I spoke to Kevin the manager he said “it is what it is with Apple and there phone And it’s out of his hands. The worst phone repair I’ve every had to deal with."

"the service used to be very good in general but in the last perhaps 9-6 months or so i have noted less professionalism and a big push to sell something to the consumer rather than to fix problems. Also the staff is snarkier than it ever was a year or two ago. It is as if the staff is not chosen for their knowledge and ability with computer problems but for an ability to push product."

"We brought in our computer to have them try to fix a connection to our screen and they were unable to do it. That was not the problem. What was my bigger issue waa that they reset the computer and in doing so, made it so that it no longer connected to wifi. When I brought it back to have them rectify the situation, they had all sorts of excuses that they could not fix it because the manufacturer did not give them the right drivers, etc. In order to rectify the issue, I would have to purchase something else from them to fix a problem that they created. When I asked why I would have to pay them to fix their own mistake, their answer was, we tried everything that we could think of. There was no empathy or attempt to remedy the situation and at the end of the day, I basically paid for them to break my computer. Awful customer service and resolution"

"Extremely disappointed with the service I received with Geek Squad yesterday, as much money I shelled out for my camera and protection plan the kind of service that was given was unacceptable. I Took a two week old brand new camera and lens to be cleaned, in turn my Lens came back damaged and it was not even cleaned at all. My Lens and camera were brand new and had no damages when I took them in. I had to wait a week with no camera only to get my camera back with a damaged Lens and the job requested was not done. I was initially told they will send it back to get it fixed which was absurd at that point because I don't trust them with my device. The other option I was given was I could get a new Lens but I would have to pay the pro-rated Geek Sqad plan difference. Another absurd option, that should be comped due to negligence on their part for damaging my lens. Victoria the Geek Squad agent tried her best but her manager was extremely rude, very nonchalant about the damage they caused and failed to apologize and insisted I had to pay the pro-rated rate to get a new lens. I still have my 50mm out with Geek Squad, I truly hope it comes back in the same shape I took it in (brand new with absoutely no damages) and it actually gets cleaned. My enthusiasm for purchasing the Geek Squad plan has gone down immensely and I am questioning if it is worth it. Advice to some of the Geek Sqad employees and managers: learn better customer service skills and at least act like you care about customer issues. Service was so terrible that I had to go downstairs to speak to Ty and Mindy who were exceptional in helping me out. Let's hope all is well with my 50mm when it comes back from the service center."

"- Very unfriendly and arrogant representatives. Don't really care about the customer. - $200 for the simple finding that the operating system on my computer is damaged. - they did not fix the problem but told me that for that, they needed something from Dell (What the heck? Why do I go to Geeksquat, if they can't fix the problem?) - Since the computer did not startup, I needed a data backup. The data backup - fortunately - was included in the $200. However, they try to talk you then into buying an external hard disk from BestBuy to put the backed up data on. - The whole process took more than 2 weeks. For me an absolutely inacceptable time frame! Bottom line: Spent $200 and 2 weeks for a useless diagnosis ("Your operating system is broke and we can't fix it, we can only back up the data"). And $100 on an external drive to back up all the data. Sorry, but the whole thing looked like a scheme to me. Next time, I'll spend more time trying to fix it myself using "Norton Ghost" or something similar to that. I was too naive thinking these guys could help me quickly."
