"the Good & bad: Thank you to the three officers I dealt with here who were normal and professional, and hope you guys keep up the good work. However, I hope that the one officer on the second floor, maybe should learn to better manage emotions at the workplace if not for the sake of your own mental health. Most of us are not looking to cause trouble, so please don’t look at people with biased eyes and just assume everyone is a criminal, most of us are just going about our own business, as an officer you are in a position of authority in that building and representing your country in the uniform, and that means you have a responsibility to not abuse that power. Again thank you to the officers who were reasonable and professional and just treated me like a human being, I hope that all your colleagues can learn from you."

"As a US Citizen returning home it was fairly strait forward. They just ask you how long you've been in Canada and what you were doing there. What I find bizarre is that they ask you what your nationality is despite me literally handing them my US passport. Just play the game, be friendly and honest and they usually won't give you any trouble. If you're not a US/Canadian citizen, they may give you a harder time, but just be patient and cooperative."

"Ok it took a while with fingerprints and paperwork and questions but the officer was just being thorough and doing his job properly and I respect that. He was very friendly and nice and the interaction was entirely pleasant. I felt sorry for the neighbouring officer who was trying to process an Asian couple who spoke no English at all but had cards claiming to be US citizens. I'm with the officer- how is that even possible. These guys are doing a tough job, and hopefully keeping the undesirables and dangerous out. I don't envy them. Good job."

"The officer was actually respectful and asked an appropriate questions. He just asked where we stayed and how many days we stayed in Canada. I was travelling with my husband, mother inlaw and my 3 year old son. It was smooth and fast. He smiled and said Welcome back to the US."
