"My girlfriend lives at embassy apartments and I am so impressed with all the improvements that are happening around the property. I got a chance to meet the property manager Karen today and she is wonderful. This place seems like it is really turning around."
"I am a little early but I went to go look at apartments for the summer as I may go to college here, and I do have to say the new property manger Karen was very helpful and super nice to kind of guide me through the process! I felt so comfortable with her to be able to even ask her any questions or concerns I had during my visit! If anyone is looking to get an apartment this is where you should go! Thank you for your time and especially Karen thank you for all your help!"
"I've been a tenant at Embassy Square for approximately 3 years. I moved here from Washington State, and it's looking like I'll be fleeing NYS, too. I've put up with the most insane things since living here. It was fairly cheap rent at first, but the place looks like it hasn't been renovated since the first moon landing. I've had my car broken into 5 times, chronic smell of either marijuana or mold coming from the basement. Laundry facilities are almost always broken, lol. The floor is clearly unlevel, and oh, the rats are the size of cats. My air conditioning must be 20 years old, it costs about $400 a month in the summer time to cool the place down to 80°. The most infuriating part, after 3 years and no complaints, I get attacked and harassed by property management and even the owner, concerning volume in my apartment that disrupts the neighbor above me. It is not a revelation for the owner/management that the walls are thin and almost impossible not to overlap into other units. The owner threatened to evict me over these complaints. So now im forced to walk around my house like a ghoul for fear I don't disturb the upstairs neighbors, as their comfort appears to be paramount. It's not even livable. The upstairs neighbors provided them audio of my television at night by hanging over the balcony recording while my screen door was open and more audio of inaudible noise. I work evenings. So according to the owner I am not to make any noise whatsoever. That means I can no longer listen to television, apparently any time, cook, enter my bedroom before 8am, use the restroom during the night, open windows, access any room other than living room, no music, talking on the phone, and heaven forbid I take a shower past 10pm. The owner insisted I was targeting and terrorizing them. I work 60 hours a week, EVENINGS, and barely see the sun. Why the hell would I care enough to do that? Wouldn't know these people if they threw a brick at me. After he began accusing me of launching terrorist attacks lol at the neighbors, I completely flipped out on him. Just woke up for work, and here's this guy calling me, in his nasally, whiny voice, calling me a terrorist. The fact that he created an environment where neighbors, with an expectation of privacy, can record each other without knowledge or consent is insane. The owner told me he'd have the sherrifs come here to serve me. Keep in mind, never a complaint in 3 years and pay them well in advance. Today, I woke up to a notice on my door, canceling my lease entirely because of the noise complaint and "handling myself poorly with the owner." I think anyone who was accused of such absurdity would have cursed him out. While i have the "privilege" of staying here, I'm now month to month. Rather than set proper expectations to the people you lease the place out to about the potential for noise to overlap, due to the paper thin walls (see other comments in reviews) I can get evicted anytime now for any reason. I'm sure this review will speed that process up. Be warned. It's a hellscape... DONT BE LIKE MY NEIGHBOR... THE WALLS ARE THIN."
"Despite having somethings take time to get fix, I was understanding that they were extremely short staffed for months. Now that they are getting staffed better, things are getting fixed within a reasonable amount of time. The new property manager Karen and been nothing short of amazing. She has been understanding and pleasant to deal with. Things are getting done around here because of her."
"I had a terrible experience living here.Walls are very thin you can hear everything! Yea don’t call for maintenance issue you’ll be waiting over 6 months for them to come out. Very loud and noisy you complain about the noise nothing gets done so it’s honestly pointless. New property manager Karen is very rude and can be quick a bit up notches! Overall apartments and townhomes decent sizes but definitely not worth the stress or money."
