"My machine was sent for repair through Singer warranty program. Left several unreturned messages before I had to call singer cooperate who has also had several contact issues. Now I can not even get a status on my machine almost 4 weeks in!!! It is now July 5th and you still have my machine with no responses to my call or emails which I consider theft at this point. I want my machine back or at least a call asap!!!!"
"The Stitchery is about an hour away from my home, and I will happily take the drive any time for the great service that I get there. I have purchased all of my machines from here, and I owe my sewing and embroidery knowledge all to them. They have helped me with everything from talking to me over the phone when something wasn’t working to cleaning my machine when I was a beginner and didn’t know how. Their personal knowledge and amount experience is very apparent in the service that they provide to their customers and I couldn’t be more grateful!"
"Stay away from this place! I brought my machine ( which was an older model but unused) into the Stitchery 2 months ago for a simple tune up. After all that time they called me to say that they couldn’t find a part to repair the machine and nothing could be done. After driving 45 minutes to see what was going on with my machine they showed me a machine which wasn’t mine and was missing the bottom part. I insisted that my machine was in one piece when I left it off and they argued that I was wrong. Basically they ripped me off of my machine and insist they are right! have no doubt these people are scammers. Next stop- The Better Business Bureau."
"The store is 45 minutes from my home and well worth the trip. I have 3 machines, 2 of which jammed up in protest of making too many masks. I took them in and was told it would be a few weeks because they were overwhelmed with business. I then used my third, a 1948 Singer Featherweight, and it died just in time to pick up the others. It has since been fixed. The cost is less than I have spent at other places and I am extremely impressed with their attention to detail. I highly recommend The Stitchery!!!"
"The Stitchery has all your sewing needs, machine repair and a variety of classes. I have been sewing for many years, but Penny is a fantastic teacher and I always leave classes with new knowledge. Charlie, Jay and Fran are extraordinary at machine repair. There is a good selection of fabric and notions, as well as sewing, embroidery and quilting machines. You couldn't ask for nicer people."
