Sherwood Tile

"This is the wackiest arrangement I've experienced while recently shopping for new tiles for our main bathroom reno and kitchen. The mother - daughter team are in over their heads and cannot properly service the customers that they've set appointments with. Yes, you read correctly - appointments are needed just to enter the retail space, just to view tile! Never seen anything like this before (unless Covid was in full swing, which it hasn't been for a couple of years now). They need a lot more help with sales staff and in the showroom if they want to keep this operation afloat. My appointment time was not honored, as the daughter was still helping another customer and I waited outside for some time before she let me in the locked door! She then told me that I could browse by myself (gee, thanks). Almost a half-hour PAST MY appointment, she was still helping the 'now running late customer', and I then politely told her my time was valuable and if they can't honor the time slot of which they appointed to me (a half-hour past already), I was going to leave and go elsewhere. She was clearly very frazzled! To make matters even more frustrating for everyone involved, the mother had walked through the showroom area 2-3 times during that 1/2 hour that I was waiting, and said nothing to me and did NOTHING to help her daughter. She was over the by register doing this and that, then she'd walk back to the warehouse area, then casually walk back up front, seemingly oblivious to the fact that her daughter needed help, as did I. Needless to say, I ended up purchasing everything from another retail dealer. I took this annoying experience as a red flag to not deal with this place further"

"I'm sure they do fine work but we ended up taking our project elsewhere. I see a similar comment below about how there was an awkward exchange due to the lack of appointment. I also see the business responded by saying this was a pandemic measure (of course, fair). But my visit is now in 2023 and we were treated like we had 6 heads when we walked in the door. We didn't know we had to make an appointment (again, fair) but to be treated as if we should know better while the associate did not want to provide a friendly exchange was very off-putting. Again, I'm guessing they do fine work but wanted to share my experience so others know before they engage and end up feeling the same way. Feedback for the owner/associates: "Hey, thanks so much for coming in! Unfortunately we actually only do projects based on appointments, but I'd be happy to set you up with a time. While you wait, feel free to browse what we have, thanks!""

"Building a home in general is stressful and overwhelming l, but building a house during COVID was on a whole other level. Jenna literally is an angel, so patient, kind and understanding. I can’t tell you how many times I changed my mind, how many samples I took home, she never made me feel rushed and made my vision come true. Their showroom is amazing and they have so many selections. You have to make an appointment, and while your their the attention is focused on you and what you want which makes the experience even better. Tile is such a permanent decision and I would recommend sherwood tile over and over again to everyone I know! Amie Rivera"

"This is a very belated review of a truly exceptional, patient and knowledgeable staff! Our kitchen was completed over a year ago and the final step was the backsplash I couldn't make my mind about.
