"Never going back. Walked in with a Sherwin Williams products and gentleman referred to not having anything as "poor" as that. And his attitude was so poor i couldn't stay. Have remodeled so many homes with both products. No need for bashing. AND he laughed when I said I didn't appreciate his attitude and it turned me off! Really? You laugh? So tired of poor common courtesy."

"I recently had a very unpleasant experience with one of the Hadlock owners. 2 weeks ago, I had my kitchen cabinets refinished and painted. My painting contractor did an outstanding job. However, we were unaware that the actual paint that was blended and purchased was a bit off from the actual color that we selected. The color Hadlock gave us had a very gray hue to it, and the color we selected had an eggshell/cream hue. We scheduled to have the owner come to my house for an in-person review. He kept giving us all kinds of excuses, a lot of excuses, about why the color was off and there was nothing he could do about it, then he changed his mind and said the color was right and was "as close as he could get it". Even though they advertise and will personally tell you that they can match any color to ANY brand (my brand was Sherwin Williams), when they came to the house, they told me they cannot always create match that is not their specific brand (Benjamin Moore). When I asked him if that meant I had to pick a color from their specific brand, he said “NO, we can match”. I got very confused, and I said, “you realize you are contradicting yourself” and he replied “yes”. Basically, he told me there was nothing he could do, and that he was right, and I was wrong. Of course, I got very upset. There was no remediation at all offered to me!! So…. they basically lie about being able to do true matches, and they just don’t seem to care. Pretty bad customer service. I will never do business with and will never recommend anyone ever buy anything from Hadlock’s. And by the way, this is the second review in 4 months that said Hadlock’s paint color was not the color they selected, and the second time the owners said, “oh well”."

"We decided to give Hadlocks a try because we were hoping for knowledgeable staff and a smooth experience. The staff rushed us through the process, charged us the wrong price, and to top it off, the color we bought wasn't remotely close to the sample in the store. We ended up back at a hardware store after $150 wasted at Hadlocks on stain that we hate. We reached out and spoke to the manager and were told something might be done to fix the unopened gallon but there's nothing that can be done with the one we tried. He wasn't overly helpful when I was in the store so don't have any faith he will address our concerns."
