"Brad came and did work on 3 different furnaces for us. 2 of the units have been in service for over 20 years and he has done annual maintenance on them for a number of years now. He is very thorough and meticulous in his work. He not only checks on the furnace but anything in and around the home that may be tied to overall home heating and/or cooling. In our case he asked to perform a carbon monoxide test of all 3 places. Not because he was concerned about a leak, but because we did not have carbon monoxide detectors (only smoke detectors) and he just wanted to be sure that his thoughts were backed up with hard science. He also checked the smoke detectors and found one to be of such poor quality due to age that you could barely hear the alarm when it went off. He also checked the intake and outtake pipes and placed new guards in the pipes so no mice or other creatures could crawl inside them. A word of advice to those who want to use his services. Expect to have him at your home for some time. He does very thorough work and does not rush through stuff just to get to the next call. He really wants to not only earn your trust but to keep you safe from "hidden" dangers that you may not even be aware of. In our case, we had a crack in the output vent from a furnace and the pipe was broke right at the wall where it went out. I had thought the straps had come loose and that is why the pipe moved. I casually mentioned it to him and he said we need to check it right away. Come to find out, it was not the strap being loose, but the pipe actually being broke, thus having us run the risk of carbon monoxide coming back into the basement. Great job Brad!"
