"Was recommended by a friend. Company seems geared more to contractors. Was left sitting on a roll of carpeting for 10 minutes before being acknowledged on my first visit. Final price did not match the estimate. I was unpleasantly suprised when i stopped in to pay my bill. They probably should have eaten the additional $57 dollars, they knew i wasnt pleased...so here we are... on the plus side, the workmanship was outstanding, thus salvaging my rating.."

"We had three bedrooms carpeted, and are totally satisfied with the whole experience! It was easy to walk in and look at/feel different carpets. Everyone there was helpful with understanding material, colors and pricing. We took some samples home, and the next day they had already had someone come measure our rooms. Later when we were ready for install the contractor double checked everything and made sure it was how we wanted, it only took two 1.5 days for install, and overall it has been the least stressful part of our whole home reno! Definitely recommend if you're thinking about carpeting and want to stay local"

"I was highly very disappointed in my visits and the owner wasn't very nice and wouldn't let me decide on what I wanted. I finally made my decision after 4 trips there. I had the contractor name John. The first 3 days he came like he said. But after that he was a no show several several days. Never called me or text me to tell what is going on.this went on for a total of 3 weeks. So I had to fire him and got someone else to finish. He came and finished John's work. he got the rest done in 3 days. This job should of only taken only 4 to 5 days. It ended up getting done in 4 weeks. Not a happy camper. The 2nd guy forgot to fix my other vinyl that I had installed 8 years ago. There were gashes in the vinyl under my couch and chair and I had extra pieces that I saved. he didn't fix it. not sure why. I guess I'll fix it by myself. something that i paid in full for them to fix for me. I will not go back to j& d, the owner had me in tears and was yelling at me because I said it wasn't the color i ordered.. It came in brown and I didnt order brown vinyl. It was more of the old fashion woodwork back in the day with a bit orangish color to it. I should get some of of my money back for it. . After all the sample was the actual color I wanted. The vinyl i got, actually looks like the roll on display. Mr Mcdonald, please don't sway your customers to different floors. We know what we want and also DON'T EVER YELL AT YOUR COUSTOMERS EVER!!! You really should retire and have Ben take over."

"I was recently doing a renovation on a nursery, I was looking to get carpeting to make if softer and safer for the long times standing and playing. I came her first because of a few great recommendations. Good thing I did It turned out perfect!!! I knew the size I needed and the color I kind of had in mind and they were happy to help. after walking around and making my selection which was a very stress free situation they were there to help but not necessarily upsell. We set up a date and time that was convenient and the person who came to install was awesome. He came a few minutes early did a great job in no time. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone who mentions needing carpet. Great business great service and local what more can you ask for!!!!!"
