Reviews of Da-Vi Nails
"Had an appointment today and was there 10 minutes early. As I sat down to wait,Hannah (my request for my appointment) asked if someone else could do my nails. I said that I made an appointment with her and would wait. She replied it'll be over an hr. I reluctently went with someone else to do my nails and the paint job was terrible. They already look a week grown out and the paint on the free edge is so sheer it looks worn. At 130 when my appointment was supposed to be Hannah was free and able to take 2 walk ins. Apparently she didnt want my business or my 30% tip. Will NEVER RETURN!"
"Ok, I know you are thinking " ugh, it's in Walmart". I went here on a whim while I was waiting for my car's oil change. And guess what? It's my absolute favorite nail place ever. The techs are great. Hannah and her husband are the best. ANC dips flawless but make an appointment because they get super busy."
"TERRIBLE!!!!! NEVER GO HERE!!!! HAD TO GIVE ONE STAR TO POST REVIEW OTHERWISE I WOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN ANY!!!! My main concern was the language barrier between my assigned Nail tech and I. I had acrylic nails which I wanted soaked off d/t my acquired knowledge and profession which deems them not only unsanitary but also carcinogenic but that’s another realm. After giving me a MANICURE?!?! Like how can u manicure acrylic nails “Sway”?!? I expressed to her in a very polite manor that this was not what I wanted and she could not understand due to her lack of English. The female manager had been absent possibly shopping d/t the stores location and the other staff was unconcerned. When the manager returned and my nail technician seemed angry as evidenced by her mannerisms and body language because they spoke in their language. (Ride)The manager finally asked me what was wrong and I explained to her the situation still remaining calm as my nail tech tossed a nail file down on the nail table and shoved her stool apparently angrily as if I had given her the wrong service and I was invisible and not the paying customer! To remedy the situation the manager did not offer an apology which would had been sufficient for my feelings she instead offered 5$ off my 25$ service. I declined and paid full price for the service but not before stating that I would never return which I never have and that in the future management should have more fluent English speaking staff to avoid this situation from happening again. I know I am just one person but I feel these places are often insensitive and paint the customers out to be villains when the workers are the ones who speak rudely in their language around paying customers which is insensitive and some are completely capable of speaking English and if not , I feel that speaking the English language should be a job requirement when you live in a country where it’s the primary language and your customers also speak the language , just a tip. Anyway to make a long story longer this experience led me to become a nail technician to make sure customers aren’t treated in such an ill manner."
"I don’t have my nails done often, but when I do- I only go here! The staff are awesome with ANC dip nails. They looked perfect every time and hold up a month! I’m a licensed cosmetologist and did acrylics at jcpenney, so you can be sure, if I come here you can be assured to get a great nail experience too! Staff is always professional and caring, you can tell they have a lot of nail experience behind them."
"The man who worked on me and my 2 friends was so rude and unprofessional he made me extremely uncomfortable. I asked to leave the length of my nails and he filed them all down. They rushed us out so wash that they have us a manicure during our pedicure which was no enjoyable at all. The pedicure itself was very nice and the salon is nice but that man was so rude he ruined it for all of us."
