Riis Landing is part of the Gateway National Recreation Area, a sprawling park that stretches from Sandy Hook in New Jersey to Breezy Point in New York City. This park serves as the gateway from the ocean to New York Harbor and welcomes millions of visitors each year. Starting March 1, 2024, permits for Breezy ORV, Fishing Access, Archery, and Boat Ramp parking can be purchased online through Recreation.gov.
