"I needed to get 4 pairs of work pants hem. They wanted to charge me $20 a pair of pants. That would've been $80. That's ridiculous just to hem the bottom of the pants. Then the man behind the counter says, sorry its the area. So you think it's okay to charge people more because it's a decent area and people who live in the area might can afford it. That is very disgusting and disappointing. I would never go to this cleaners again."

"Honestly this is my second time having an article of clothing destroyed here. I chalked the first time up to a mistake / not the end of the world but ….two for two that’s not great. This time I took in a white bodysuit with a literal pin drop of a stain. Was returned a white bodysuit with a large light yellow stain in the center and the fabric super degraded where the original stain had been. There are sooo many great dry cleaners, tailors and laundromats nearby (Mandalay One on Montague is fantastic as are Boerum Hill Dry Cleaners). Highly recommend not bringing anything you care about here !"

"COBBLE HILL DRY CLEANERS LOST MY DRY CLEANING FOR 11 MONTHS AND DENIED IT!!! TOTAL GASLIGHT!!! They lost by dry cleaning and Gaslighted me that they never recieved them. My 3 silk dresses appeared 11 months later mixed with current items. They billed them with a currect ID number and current date for $50. They denied having recieved them a year prior. Luckily one dress still had the original back neck ticket with the original ID number and date so I proved that they lost the dresses. For 6 months I have unsuccessfully tried to get Sal, the owner to acknowledge their loss and compensate me for the $50. He has never bothered to return my calls. His minions only say someone will get back to me. We've spent thousands of dollars using Cobble Hill Cleaners for over 12 years. Madeline who used to answer the phone is fabulous. She was the only reason we've stayed so long. If I had problems she usually resolved them. She no longer answers the phone. Today I closed out our account. There are half a dozen dry cleaners in the neighborhood who would love to have our business. Cobble Hill/Caroll Gardens"
