"I initially was impressed by the attentiveness when booking this service. However, an emergency medical situation came up with my mother and I was unable to keep our appointment. When I messaged the company, the response was “you will be charged the cancellation fee”. I understand there are policies and rules when it comes to running a business but customer service and taking the time to understand the situation in order to work with your client also matters. Life is not always black and white. We had no intention of cancelling and were willing to reschedule in advance but this response and immediate charge of a cancellation fee is off putting."
