"Amazing views of the city, Coney Island, New Jersey, and mainly the ships funneling in and out of NY harbor. While it is free to walk out, it is a long hike down a long, winding, underwater, road. To access you need a beach pass for your 4x4 vehicle."
"A peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. The natural beauty was captivating, and the serene atmosphere was perfect for relaxation."
"The #1 beach in NYC!! Breezy point tip is a national park so it is open to the public, but the park is located inside a gated community. There is absolutely no parking for beach goers so there isn’t anywhere to leave your car (it will get towed) (few cars will be parked but they have fishing permits for parking). U have to walk out there or bike or Uber (May try to finesse a surf club shuttle ride from beach 169, the last/first stop before/after Brooklyn on the q 35). Ubers don’t know how to get there so when you get to the gate, have the driver tell them that they are dropping you off at the national park, they HAVE to allow you in. To get back home: walk, hitch hike, try to finesse the shuttle, call an Uber and give him directions on how to pick you up past the gate and what he/she has to say to the guard. If you make it past the obstacles, it’s the best and cleanest beach in NYC. A true hidden gem!"
