"This is a park that is crazy underrated. If you go to the museum office inside the battery there are park rangers that have a wealth of knowledge shot the history of the battery itself. It was a fort (obviously) a concert hall, and an aquarium among other things. The history here is rich and worth exploring, plus you’re a few minutes walk from Wall Street and the Bull statue."
"Great place for catching a glimpse of lady liberty. Just a heads up, there is a fence that no longer allows you to get along the water. So the picture I snapped of Lady Liberty was from behind the fence 50 ft from the water."
"Beautiful park. Worth seeing. Traveling with friends and the husband is retired military. The memorial was beautiful. Security to get through to the ferry was good as well, they accommodated my friend's mobility scooter with ease. Hot dog vendor was good too!"
