"This park has a couple of soccer fields, softball/baseball fields, and a small playground ~ It has lights on the main soccer field and softball field ~ There are public bathrooms. The park is reasonably well maintained. Although there are no formal walking paths, you can walk the perimeter,,,the property also connects to an adjacent school yard, so it appears open and offers nice views of the sunset."
"This is one of my favorite parks to visit. Perfect place to bring your family on a summer's day."
"All the slides were wet and my friends son found a wasp nest on the playground where me and me 1 year old were playing. Scary lucky we weren't harmed or swarmed here. Please address this hive it is underneath the smaller kids playground with the small slides. We enjoyed this place before the bees."
"It says nice place to walk your dog, but I requested town to put littering signs w fine up! Now one saying NO dogs, golfing, alcohol? Where’s one about littering I requested? Tire tracks all over deep in mud by bathrooms? Pick up trash including water caps bottles please!!!!!use trash cans!! After each sports event there’s so much trash kids snack wrappers, , water bottles , caps beer bottles, caps , smashes & on ground! If cans are full use common sense. Put into another trash can or bag! Littering is disrespectful. I don’t want my kids, grand kids growing up in filth! Other cities , townships post littering fine signs why won’t Huntingtonstation or Huntington township? Also if no handicap cap parking pass don’t park in handicap cap parking ! There’s 8 handicap spaces!"
"First and foremost I'd like to thank Mr Nelson. It seems like he gave and gave and gave the ultimate to his community. Thank you sir. It's an absolutely lovely park great place to run your kids and get them all tired and stuff. My dog, he likes the baseball field right behind it. Thanks again Mr Nelson, if a person is not looking, you could miss all the heroes that surround you. G-d bless."
