Le Dock

"Really disappointed with this place and had such high hopes given the look of the place and the clientele that you would expect they would want to cater to. We went with a party of 8, reserved in advance. It was our friends’ first time in fire island and we thought it would be nice to go out for a nice meal, this is not the place. Generally the food was lackluster, no one at the table really enjoyed the meal. One friend ordered the lobster roll which was really just a buttered roll with 2 tablespoons of lobster. If it’s a matter of pricing, don’t have it on the menu if you can’t provide a legitimate amount of meat. The salmon was fine, overcooked, in my opinion. The folks that got burgers were not impressed. The calamari did not appear to actually be calamari and instead were probably the pig rectum The NY Times spoke about. Service was lacking. One of the party asked for Parmesan and got it when they were basically done eating. We had to chase the waiter down for the check to leave. There are better options if you have time to go to Kismet, like the Dive. Would not recommend this place."

"I asked the bartender what her favorite thing was. She recommended the Mahi-Mahi taco. Everyone reading this review must try it. Her nickname is now legs. The atmosphere the sunset. It's a beautiful place, come to Le Dock"

"Nice bar located at the end of the dock near the pier. Nice bar vibe during happy hour. The service and food were good except for the lobster roll which is basically shredded lobster meat stuffed into a hot dog roll with little or no taste."

"I’ve been getting pizza here for 30+ years. It’s as good as ever. Nothing beats a slice on a hot summer day followed by an Unfriendly’s ice cream."
