Reviews
"This place looks nothing like advertised. I was very disappointed when I walk into the establishment. The place was disturbingly filthy. The kitchen was in view and was not pleased by what I saw. I have marked this place off my list."
"I was in town visiting last week and wanted to try something good. I found this restaurant online and read the reviews and everyone raved about the “Rasta pasta.” In all honesty, this should really be named “Cajun pasta” as that is what it was giving me. When I tell you that it was amazing, believe me!! We were very pleased with the food although the aesthetics of the place was not very appealing, but it’s Brooklyn. Can’t expect too much on that front. My cousin and I got the Cajun pasta and added salmon, shrimp, and broccoli and we really enjoyed it. My mom got the salmon and shrimp with mixed veggies and rice and she enjoyed her meal as well. The vegetables were fresh and the butter sauce was amazing. We asked for ours on the side and they were very accommodating. All in all, whenever I come back to Brooklyn it’s a wrap. I’ll definitely be revisiting this place again. Thanks for the delicious food!!"
"Wasn’t what I expected. The menu wasn’t available to browse. The individual that took my order and made my food was the only person in the place. The price was very reasonable. The salmon and mashed potatoes was delicious but I could pass on the collards and macaroni and cheese. Overall I will visit again. You know, see what they have to offer once NYC continues to reopen."
"I really wanted to enjoy this place as it is highly rated on Google. Extremely long wait time for ordering. It was over an hour of waiting. The shrimp Rasta pasta’s flavor is great but it is *extremely* salty and the shrimp was over cooked and tough. The fried whiting was good but there was no sauce provided nor was there an option for it. I’m very disappointed as the food was kinda underwhelming for all of the time it took to arrive."
"Update: I ordered from here again and was generally disappointed. The fried shrimp was really good, but their plain Mac and cheese was so weird and gross. DONT get it. It had hard orange layer that would not melt, probably fake cheese, and it tasted off, not fresh at all, and not cheesy just pasta with little hard balls of cheese. The lobster Mac and cheese was super good and cheesy so not sure what happened there. Was really good! Delivery was fast and food was still piping hot when it got here. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and the fish and chips, both were really good and the portions were incredible for the price. Lobster Mac and cheese was the best I’ve had"
