Casa Ora

"We came to NYC to celebrate our anniversary and had brunch at Casa Ora. The restaurant did not disappoint. They surprised us with some champagne (really nice touch). We started with some typical Venezuelan drinks (chicha and pineapple and coconut) excellent. We started with some empanadas (super crunchy and tasteful), then the Cazón dish, very elegant presentatIon and great flavor, we also had a Cachapa with cheese (I almost cried with this dish…that good it is). For dessert we shared a Passion Fruit Mouse, this was a treat, not sure why we do not have more desserts with this delicious fruit…So good. We will come back again but with the family. Thank you!!"

"The service was really good! The food in general was delicious. My favourite was el Pabellon y las empanadas, they were so crunchy and the guasacaca estaba en su punto! El café con leche me trajo recuerdos de infancia. And the tres leches cake was good but it felt a little too sweet with the crunchy caramel on top. The only thing that I wouldn’t try again will be one of the fish dish (el cazón) it was good like it looked nice but I think I wasn’t convinced with the mix of flavours. The plantain, the cheese and the other sauces it was too much, I couldn’t really taste much the fish. I would definitely go back and try other dishes!"

"Absolute 10/10. Outdoor seating is beautiful, perfect for date night and can fit groups up to 6. The service was spectacular with servers walking you through every item of the menu and not rushing you at all. Also they make sure your water is topped off and bring out extra sauces (which are insanely tasteful). The food was phenomenal, by far the best Beet Salad and Yucca Fries I have ever had. 100% recommend getting those. I will be back, with more people or less or by myself. It doesn’t matter, it was delicious and was definitely worth the price."

"Superb experience! Everyone in our party was trying Venezuelan food for the first time and we were blown away by the explosion of taste, aroma and textures! The mocktails and food was elevated by the beautiful interiors and excellent friendly service. Great place to celebrate or just enjoy a family meet up like we did!"

"The service was great and the food was delicious! I had the salmon as a main course and it was one of the best salmon meals I've had. Moist and seasoned well. The steak and brisket were also cooked well and were tender. My one negative was the cuatros leches dessert had way too much cinnamon which did not go well with the strawberry topping But the atmosphere is great for a night out after work for drinks and apps I would definitely go back"
