"The other Soho Houses are 10000% better and it’s solely based on the manager (smaller woman of Asian descent). This location is BEAUTIFUL but she is truly the rudest person I have ever met in all of NYC and what was even crazier she was more rude to the member than to the guests he was with! I can’t believe she has a job in that position with the way she talks to people."
"Genuinely the epitome of overhyped, went to the bar for food and drinks as a celebration and such a let down. Cocktail served in a plastic tumbler like it's a student club. Pasta which needed to be seasoned at the table and priced to the max on all items when there are better restaurants in the area for such simple food. You pay for exclusive but this isn't. It's an online form and a member fee. The salmon was nice but doesn't come with a side with it so just eating a protein plate not even a salad to go along side. Told no photos despite multiple people taking photos and videos at other tables. Not one for a negative review but talk about nothing to offer."
"I had a meeting at the club on the sixth floor. First of all, it's too crowded and there aren't enough power outlets. But that's a minor issue. Second of all, the food is too expensive for what it is. You're in NYC and can dine anywhere, why would you go here? I only went because I went to a meeting and didn't have a choice. But that's nothing compared to the biggest issue: I go to take a leak at the bathroom and what do I see? No urinal dividers. For a place that charges a $1500/mo membership fee, this is egregious. I'm trying to pee and this dude is on the phone at the urinal for some reason and there isn't even a wooden piece of plywood between us. What does a wooden plank cost to install? $100? The hand lotion in the bathroom was nice, though I am afraid to think of the lotion in the context of a bathroom where there is no barrier between another guy's hand and your firehose."
"One of my favorite places to stay in the Meatpacking district. Love the drink cart that makes its way around for a happy hour cocktail, the always lively lounge & roof top bar. However, what makes this place are the front desk & hotel staff. They are kind and thoughtful. I had a room issue & they seamlessly took care of it. This place is a just a gem from the amazing selection of in room bath products to the flat irons, steamers stocked in every room & their amazing collection of pillows. Do yourself a favor and book a stay!"
