Reviews of Dagon
"Great Mediterranean / Israeli food. The appetizers are incredible, and the mains and deserts are also really good. Many unique flavors and aromas. Unless you are ok eating outside you will need a reservation on a Fri or Sat night. Looking forward to coming again."
"A friend and I tried Dagon for Restaurant Week. Even with the Restaurant Week menu, portion sizes were good, and the price point was unbeatable! It was pretty busy on a Thursday evening, but the service was attentive. I ordered the cauliflower, tuna, and silan while my friend opted for the hummus, schnitzel and cheesecake. The tuna was delicious, and the artichokes made for a nice flavor combination. The Silan was unlike anything I’d ever tried before. It had a crispy and light topping with either ice cream or some sort of soft jelly/pudding on the inside. The taste kind of reminded me of chikki (an Indian sweet). With all the restaurants NYC has to offer, my friend and I both agreed we would come back to Dagon!"
"Wow. What an amazing NYC Restaurant Week dining experience. Dagon delivers intimate charm, a presentable staff and a delicious menu to the upper west side. Notably, the hummus and the crispy lamb are big recommendations from me."
"A must-visit spot! The food was a delightful blend of flavors. Mackenszie's service was exceptional—warm, professional, and added that extra touch to our evening. Can't wait to return for more! Side note: Indoor seating was bustling due to being full (good for them!) but fortunately, the outdoor seating, especially on a pleasant weather day, was a perfect alternative—comfortable and enjoyable."
"Really delicious food! All of it was so good. The restaurant was nicely populated - not too busy for a Friday at lunch. Sat at the bar and had great service. The decoration is nice - the ingredients are fresh. My friend for a burger which had an excessive amount of sauce but other than that proportions were really solid. Kudos for the color scheme too :)"
