" I am currently working through billing discrepancies that imply I am not paying 'on time'. I am challenging the timeliness and accuracy of the invoices arriving at my home as I do pay my Dr. bills 'on-time'. I will update/ append/ provide follow up after further discussion with Dr. McCann herself, or the billing manager. I have asked for time with either them in the next week (by Sep. 24, 2021) Dr. McCann called and worked through my issues and concerns within a few hours of my original post. We were able to identify what happened regarding my not being able to respond to the invoices as quickly as I wanted, and further determined a mitigation to prevent such difficulties from arising in the future. My advice going forward is to be certain to communicate with the Dr.'s office to establish an invoice schedule that works for everyone, and to remain vigilant with any insurance company/ Explanation of Benefits that are provided to you after a session. Upgraded my review to four stars for Dr. McCann's attention to the issue, explanation of billing discrepancies, and timeliness of her response to me. My suggestion, and one star holdback, is to react and engage sooner to any outstanding balances that are over thirty days old."

"Waited 2.5 weeks for a return call. Then went through a “screening” with numerous questions, first being my insurance. Got a call back 8 days after the screening to say I was approved and have been accepted as a new patient. Then called back 7 days later asking me to call back in September if I’m still looking to get counseling as she cannot take me now. Waste of a month when I could have been looking!! The screening made me feel like I was being judged and looked down upon by her assistant. Not a good experience and very poor communication skills… isn’t that what therapy is all about? Dissatisfied."
