"KMP became a regular pick me up for me in my freshman year of college. After all nighter for school due to work neglect or all nighter due to movie marathon it was always there the next morning. Walking in with smile to be greated always with a smile back and a "how are you" from behind the counter I could always rely on it as a pick me up. A simple nod would suffice for an order and I could have warm bagel in my hand without my mouth opening until bite. Escaping the horrors of 1st Ave and other bagel shops KMP will always be my pick."

"This is one of our favorite bodegas. There are many bodegas in nyc but this bodega in particular has a Korean flare that makes this place one of the Best Kept Foodie Finds. They serve up delicious sandwiches and our go to is their South Korean Chicken Sandwich and the South Korean Bulgogi Sandwich both served on a Garlic hero.Let’s Start off with Bulgogi Sandwich - you get that tender, juicy, savory marinaded beef tucked in between the garlic hero with onions, mushrooms, soy sauce, sesame oil, and pear juice giving a sweet and salty taste. With lettuce and Mozzarella cheese as well in there. This is a delicious and hearty sandwich! The South Korean Chicken Sandwich was bold and spicy from the gochujang sauce on the chicken providing that heat! Then you got the mushrooms, peppers and onions bringing in that earthy and sweet taste. Filled in a garlic hero could never go wrong."

"The KMP Grocery prominently advertises pizza in the window, so I gave it a shot. When I walked inside, the pizza oven wasn't turned on, which made me concerned about the freshness of the pie in the display case. I touched the outside of the display case, and it wasn't refrigerated or heated. Fortunately, I didn't get a stomach ache afterwards, so maybe they have some way of keeping the pizza fresh that I don't know about. They heated my slice in what seemed to be a toaster oven. I'm guessing this is because there weren't enough customers to merit the electricity cost of the pizza oven. However, it was still disappointing because I could have toasted a slice at home and not paid for it. The $3.50 slice price is not competitive with the $1.50 slice shop nearby. Also, if you're thinking about swinging by for one slice, there's a $5 credit card minimum. As for the pizza, the crust actually had great texture. The sauce was good and layered on generously. The cheese didn't have a strong flavor and was overshadowed by tomato. The slice size was slightly larger than nearby pizzerias (minus Artichoke), and you could eat one slice as a small meal."

"Super convenient location, lose to My. Sinai and Stuyvesant Square Park. I was referred here to try the Crazy Turkey sandwich and I was not disappointed. The Korean aspect gives this store a warm, welcoming feel and flavor. The deli is known for its fresh, delicious sandwiches and sides so don't forget to try something new! They are open late at night too."

"I became a regular since the first bite of the Crazy Turkey sandwich. The deli was made right here, consistent and delicious. The store is clean and stocked with a wide selection of beverages, beer, and snacks. There is a Korean touch here and there, snacks, bulgogi sandwich and so on. Really a hidden delight."
