"Lovely mountain. Absolutely beautiful with the leaves changing. The owner and staff are super kind. Read the rules on the site. That's exactly what you're getting. We opted out of the long hike because we're out shape. Wish we had arrived earlier so we could take our time to take it and still arrive before dark. The basic campsites are small. My friends squeezed two tents on theirs but I was really happy we only had one on ours. We walked through the elevated sites and they seem worth it. If you have any reservations don't. Just call and ask em. Looking forward to going back."
"My husband and I wanted to try camping so this was our first camping experience and it was truly amazing. We had a great time hiking and camping at Malouf Mountain. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and wants to relax. We'll definitely be back!!!"
"Crazy beautiful experience! I loved everything of this place from the welcoming owner to the beautiful view. It's great to detox from the stress and noise of the city and recharge yourself. Don't worry, just do the long hike the views are worthwhile Just enjoy the vibe :)"
"As non-drivers who live in NYC, this was a great way to let our kids experience sleeping in a tent outside. It was a real treat to have proper flushing toilets in the wilderness! Some minor annoyances: the 4-person tent isn't quite big enough to hold more than 3 sleeping mats - we should have gone with a pair of 2-person tents instead; the tarp covering out fire pit didn't cover it that well so rain kept falling into the fire pit when we tried to start the fire; strike anywhere matches are super hard to use - we should should just have brought a lighter like they suggested; drop-off times aren't synced well with the train schedule so we had to wait nearly 45 minutes for the train at the end."
"An amazing place to find peace and comfort. A hidden gem for locals and a great destination for people who reside in urban areas trying to get in touch with nature. Stayed at the campground with my girlfriend for a few weekends this past Summer. Friendly staff, solid amenities, and clean facilities. Honestly a fun and stress-free camping experience. Made some awesome memories."
