Jacks Meats & Deli

"Jack’s is a great place for locals and tourists. They have general store things (toiletries, medicine, snacks, drinks, candy, spices, beer) and they have deli meats. Going in here made me realize how THIS is an example of shopping local! Even down to a daily energy drink or coffee purchase from Stewart’s could be replaced by coming to Jack’s. It’s been here for 32 years, and the owner has been a New Paltz local since 1981! Few things to note: - Sandwiches are pretty cheap at around $10 each, they include a lot of extras so make sure you say exactly what you want and don’t want. - The only alcohol they sell is beer, no seltzers or other kinds. - Local SUNY New Paltz Hawk Dollars can be used here. - It is very cluttered, but clean. - They sell almost everything here… I’m telling you; lot of options you don’t normally see at “convenience stores”. Very useful! - Jack is a very friendly man, make sure to say hello!"
