"If you don’t have to stay here, don’t. You will not get any sleep due to the party nonsense. This hotel houses the homeless & drug addicted who (in the nice weather stay outside somewhere.) They are allowed to smoke & carry on like they would outside. Staff is ok, but the accommodations are horrible. Good location that’s about it. Spend the extra for you & your pet , go somewhere clean and quiet."

"This was a check in and immediate check out situation. Rooms are dank, dirty and smell bad. The drapes were hanging off the rail, the beds were barely made, with a thin sheet between you and the mattress. The front desk staff were attentive and clearly doing a good job, they were happy to give us a full refund. Hope there is some investment in this place because the staff deserve to be working in a much better environment."

"I typically leave good reviews of places but I can't with this one. I was only there for one night, but two of the outlets were either dodgy or flat out didn't work. The TV remote didn't work (didn't really need it buy still) and at 5:30am an alarm started going off that was tripped accidentally. Also, the free breakfast was snacks at best! Hopefully this review will lead to a few adjustments to make for a better stay for future visitors."

"The room was the worst we have ever stayed in. It smelled so bad, like someone had been sick in there. We literally felt sick being in that room, but we were too exhausted to find different accommodations. Hair in tub and bathroom floor. Bed sheets had dirt in them so had to go get clean sheets from front desk. The lady at front desk was incredibly friendly, attentive, professional and got clean sheets for us...which we did not blame her, not her job to clean room. The beds are very low to floor and the bed spread unusable as the fabric was gross. and the blanket was that 'rip apart' cheap material with holes... cheapest "blanket" I've ever seen...unusable. So all we had was the sheet for blanket. Terrible experience! Hope this feedback either makes the owners see their motel needs major work and to stop cutting corners on the most important things, like: Cleanliness, blankets, smell, ECT. ...OR, I hope this is able to warn others not to stay in this super 8 motel! Unacceptable to pay over $80 to stay in a dirty sick smelling room. We were very insulted that super 8 would offer such a horrible room to their customers! This was our first time staying in Kingston, after taking the rip van winkle 2 boat cruise (which was excellent!). We drove over 3 hours to get to this motel...as we were on our way to see family in next town over. Very disappointed!!"

"Room smelled like cigarettes even though our room was non-smoking. The decor is very outdated and the carpet in the room felt damp. I didn’t feel like the room was clean so I brought my own cleaning supplies. It definitely needs some major TLC. Despite bad reviews, price point is good, breakfast is alright and the staff is super friendly! Bonus: pet-friendly hotel but had to pay extra."
