"This Doctor office, I have been there decades, but never was professional, always a new different Doctor I must see there. The Staffs , Receptionist there definitely with racism attitude . Not sure if this nurse from Dominican Island but that 1 thick weight Nurse likes to insult Patients , and I am one of the victim there that was attacked by that Nurse mouth. The Staffs Receptionist there are also liars, they tell you in written to come early in appointment but have you seated 2, 3 hours and only served there own nationality only before even remember you come for an appointment time . Now all thou I was not feeling well with body aches, I just came out suffering from COVID -19 sickness , and no giving time , no head noticed to look for a new Doctor office and I was told by phone last week this year 2023, Wednesday afternoon , a staff told me that I am Terminated out this physicality Doctor office for no account reasons . And she hang up the phone on my face. Thanks to good awesome Allah I am well."

His explanations are always clear and concise and I feel reassured after each consultation. "As a front desk receptionist for a medical office, you're the face of the practice. Your basic duties include answering the phone, greeting & checking patients in, file/scan/copy necessary paperwork, verify insurances, etc. If you can’t do any of those tasks, why still choose to work here? It’s the absolute bare minimum required for the position, and yet the woman who is there on Wednesdays continues to be as incompetent as ever. My appointment was at the 3064 location yesterday. I walked in and informed her that I had changed my insurance provider since my previous visit there. As I handed her the new card, I also mentioned that I had already selected Dr. Arshad Anwar as my PCP and was just waiting on the newer card that says so to come in the mail. She clicks around for a few seconds and tells me that she doesn’t see a PCP selected, that I have to do it on my end and to come back on another day. I repeat that I had already done so a little over a week ago and she tells me no, it’s not in the system yet so I cannot see the doctor today. Confused and distraught over her sudden attitude, I asked for my insurance card back and walked out of the office towards my sister who was waiting for me in the car. We were able to find the email confirmation on my phone from said insurance company stating that on 12/26/2022 a request was submitted to assign a PCP. We then walked back in together and showed the woman this email. She still insisted that I haven’t chosen my PCP yet and that I need to call the number on the back of the card. My sister asks the woman if she can since it would be coming directly from the provider’s line and would therefore expedite the whole process; the woman claims that it’s the patient’s duty to do so while continuing to spew out other unhelpful nonsense. My sister and I sit down in the waiting area to call the insurance ourselves. The representative confirms that the PCP info is correct and that I had coverage to visit Dr. Anwar’s office under this new insurance as of Jan 1st. We ask if she can tell this to the front desk woman, the representative says that the receptionist would need to make a call herself to verify (which was exactly what my sister had requested earlier for her to do), and were given a confirmation # in case. We gave this number to the woman and after “refreshing” her screen, she says ok I need to call them. Less than a minute later, I was allowed inside to take vitals and was then finally able to be seen by the PA. This nightmare appointment left me visibly shaken and with tears in my eyes. At no point did I receive an apology from this woman or the other staff who also witnessed this mess. Instead, I was met with dismissive remarks by this bizarrely bug-eyed woman while my sister and I tried to make sense of the issues she was causing. Why was it so difficult for her to make one phone call and why was she so adamant about me coming back on another day? It was incredibly frustrating and embarrassing dealing with her clear lack of professionalism and this is definitely not the first time she’s been unhelpful. Ask her to make you a follow up appointment? She’ll tell you to just come in as a walk-in next time. Ask her to scan an immunization record and upload it to your chart? She’ll tell you to tell the nurse to do so when you are inside for a vitals check because “the nurse has all the records not me”. Ask her for a copy of your latest blood report? She’ll need to find two other people first just to press a button. The very few times she’s able to actually do any of her job duties is only after you mention it to the PA and they have a talk with her. I hope that Dr. Anwar takes this review into serious consideration along with all the others that posted here before. This is not how you treat a patient that has been coming here for years and I can see why people have left this office behind. If the woman in the front ever gets a chance to read this, I will keep you in my prayers. May Allah SWT guide you onto a different career path, one that’s not in the healthcare field at all."
