Nao Medical

"I went to Nao this morning, I got there around 9::07am. Not feeling well at all.Corey Peterson, the receptionist told me a cannot be seen due to me having to pay $40 Co-Pay. I asked to speak with a physician so I can explain I don’t have any money for the Co Payment , I have insurance, can I be billed, and can I please be seen. Corey proceeded to get on the phone, call some and stated “a patient “ wants to be seen, but she doesn’t want to pay”. I blurted out “please let whoever that is know that I do t have the cash to pay and have a medical emergency and your turning me away” Corey then stated whoever was on the other end of the phone said “No” I tried to call Nao customer service, and also was texting through a chat with someone. All for nothing. I was told basically no money no service. With all that is going on in this world you would think there would be some good humanity in people. I could have walked out that place and anything medically could have happened to me because of $40. NAO DO BETTER !!!!!! It also doesn’t state on any forms posted in the facility No co pay no service."

"They won’t book your appointment with out a credit card on file even if u have Medicaid or any insurance. I asked why and all the receptionist said is that it’s their policy with no explanation. Won’t be going back again."

"Nnamdi C. Uwakwe, one of the staff members, flirted with me during my appointment, which made me feel very uncomfortable. The environment is filthy, the staff is unprofessional and communicates loudly, allowing you to hear other patients' diagnoses with no regard for patient privacy. I wouldn’t suggest going here ."

"I had scheduled an 8am appointment for Wednesday 9/13 to do lab work.i received a confirmation email and received a call from an admin confirming my appointment. However the person who had called me must have been working from home because when I arrived to my 8 AM appointment, the gate was down indicating that the establishment was still closed. A half hour later the place was still closed. It is unbelievable and down right disrespectful to play with ppl time. How could they scheduled ppl for 8 am and they are closed. Google also has their business hours listed from 8:00am- 7:30pm. This is exactly why I don't do business in the Bronx, I thought since it was just lab work I needed for a job, no real medical service I would just drop in before going into work. However my plans were shot. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! They don't even deserve 1 star. I advise everyone who live in the Bronx to not attend any medical clinic or hospital in the bronx. The level of care is well below satisfactory."
