"Terrible !!! Front desk lady has a really bad attitude. I was waiting for someone to assist me and she was outside smoking her cigarette knowing I was waiting there for a while ! Never again"

"Terrible place to go. Unprofessional staff all around. I was greeted with mean mug by a receptionist because I asked her a question while she was scrolling through Instagram. I told this receptionist that I work with people all day and never have I once gave them the attitude she gave me. She and the other receptionist proceeded to go gossip about me to the doctor on site. I was seen by this female doctor (who I can’t even recall what her name was because I wasn’t given any type of discharge paperwork) who then allegedly “prescribed” me antibiotics which she NEVER sent to the pharmacy. If this isn’t malpractice, idk what is. I will be filing a complaint with my insurance and the Department of Health. Do not come here."

"Can we give ZERO stars!!!! Essen Healthcare in the bronx is where I have had the unfortunate experience of trying to get my Endocrinologist Care for diabetes. Thanks to them I have been in hospital for over a week and still no one in the office will take ownership or help. BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE. As an urgent care they may work but as medical professionals for basic standards of continuous care,, they fail miserably. I am definitely going to seek legal action upon my discharge."

"this place is so bad and does not care about their patients. my primary care doctor was gone for months and they didn’t let me know that. i’ve been trying to schedule appointments and i haven’t gotten any responses. they never have a doctor on site and when they do, the doctors don’t listen to your medical needs. do not waste your time going here. you would be better off going to a normal urgent care. they have made the last year of my life very difficult."

"I always call before I Go to urgent care. It’s happened to me a few times where I go to the Urgent care and there’s no doctor on site. The last time I was there I called essen to make sure that they had a doctor on site. They said yes, go but when I arrived they didn’t have a doctor. Today I called to make sure there’s a doctor on site and they said yes. When I go there, again they said no doctor. I had to take my son to the ER and paid over &40 on taxis"
