"Killer pizza, real meatballs. Delicious."
"Very disappointed when I went on Friday 8/18/23 at appox. 1.30 pm. Went in the shop to dine in. Was told they would not be able to take our order for 1 and 1/2 hour as they were backed up with orders. Did not recognize 1 person working in the restaurant. Have been going to DeFazio since I was 5 years old with my mom and Dad. I know there oven is small, however they expanded at a different location in Albany, maybe they should have expanded the originally store. Well no pizza is worth waiting an hour and a half, plus how can it be as good as it was, when there was none of the owners or original employees there...."
"I live in California now but lived in the capital district for 25 years. I loved Defasios tomato sauce, I’d buy the quart and bring home for after work dinners . Nice vibe , neighborhood grocery store ."
"We had the 5 course tasting menu to celebrate my dad's birthday. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the fra diavolo pizza and the fettuccine alfredo, and the homemade sausage was excellent too."

They refunded me of course, but it was too late for me to get replacements so that was a big pain. I look forward to being able to enjoy their patio this summer onr day. Exciting they have opened a new location..."
