"I was a patient for over ten years and was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I was prescribed as normal and scheduled a follow up appointment for 6 months. Next thing I know I get a letter stating I was released as a patient with no reason and I could not meet with another doctor at this paractice. I felt deceived and disrespected. I was shocked. It was very unprofessional and I know this review will get no attention but I’m truly disappointed in Brighton medicine and Dr. GA Sirotenko."

"I called to set up an appointment for my boyfriend who has acceptable insurance , we dont have the actual card so i simply asked if they could look it up, she said no and asked to call back with the information (fine) i called back only to be talked to like an idiot whos never set up an appointment before . I was put on hold , which was like purgatory so i hung up and called back . same unwelcoming attitude. Two seperate secretaries. I get its annoying when someone doesnt have the exact information you need to make your job easier , I could only imagine how they would treat a senior citizen....I Called a different medical group, set up an appointment in 4 minutes . Totally different expierience , same scenario . Im so greatful not to be apart of brighton medical associates ."

"Dr. Nugent is a very knowledgeable and caring medical provider. She takes time with her patients. It is sometimes hard to reach them by phone due to limited phone hours on some days that conflict with my work schedule. The office staff is friendly."

"The office assistants always make me feel unwelcome and as if I am a nuisance. Attempting to schedule an appointment takes 5 to 7 phone calls, as the phone is rarely picked up (and time window when it should be picked up during the day is rather small). Walk-ins are not welcome in the least. I had a sudden onset of a possible strep throat/definite ear infection and was told I couldn't be seen until two days from now "because we are doing physicals right now and they take 45 minutes". It takes about 5 minutes to take a temperature, blood pressure, ask a standard list of questions, look in the throat and ear and write out a prescription. People that are there for physicals already expect to be there about an hour and unlike walk-ins, are likely not in pain/discomfort. When I asked where is the nearest urgent care center, I've gotten the "I don't know" answer. Eventually I was pointed to one that doesn't open for 6 hours from the time I arrived. There was no compassion or empathy from the office staff."
