"There are many reasons why people from all walks of life enjoy antiquing as opposed to shopping in a regular retail store. Whether its the thrill of discovering a one-of-a-kind item versus a run-of-the-mill mass-produced one, or the feeling of nostalgia conjured by finding items reminiscent of one's childhood, shopping in the antique stores and multi-vendor vintage malls is a way for folks to hunt for long-lost treasures and to connect with the bygone eras that interest them. The Victorian Lady Antique Shop is one such place where the past continues to live on, not just in faded memories of the mind but within tangible objects for new generations to cherish. This fun antique store located in Oneida features a nice selection of antique home décor items - furniture, lamps, glassware, teapots, antiquarian books, art - and so much more. They also have an entire room filled to the brim with gorgeous vintage clothes of yesteryear, fancy shoes, ladies' hats and a ginormous selection of purses in just about every style one could imagine. We visited the Victorian Lady during her Labor Day sale and nearly got lost browsing all the beautifully displayed things throughout the shop. Scored some great finds and great deals. We will definitely be returning!"
