"Just bought bagels and they had mold on them even though they are labelled to have just been packed. You’re paying for their aesthetic and pretentious loud jazz music, but the produce and service is very much sub par."

"Nice location, but the staff needs training, from the workers who never ask if you need help (except one guy in the white coat who actually understands service) to the no-smiles cashiers to the never speaking security who stare/follow like you're stealing invisible produce. They don't seem to be trying to build a loyal customer base at all."

"Highlights include an unmatched variety of fresh, quality produce esp fruits, berries, other veg which you cant compare to other nearby groceries/chains. Prices of most items are comparable to cost saving grocery chains like eggs, milk, kombucha, etc but there a few things that are a bit pricier like packaged cheese, juice, seltzer, bread. Still pleasantly surprised by a few items on sale which were very good. Impressive selection of soap and household items like cleaners. Really nice variety of dry artisan pasta, many diff brands and shapes that you’d find in some top notch restaurants. A very welcome addition to the supermarket scene in the area."

"Union Market has finally arrived in Crown Heights, and it is a joy. The aisles are beautifully stocked by super friendly staff. The vegetables and fruits are fresh (and quite reasonably priced), as are the bread and cheeses. The meat and seafood selection are top-notch quality. The vibe is very warm and welcoming. As expected, you can find a wide range of Union Market’s branded products such as their signature coffee blends, pastas and sauces. I was particularly impressed by their diverse selection of cheeses and beers. Also, their prepared foods aisle is a game-changer as you can find sushi, bowls, salads, soups and more. What a welcome addition to the neighborhood, it was worth the wait!"
