"Horrible store. Went there tonight and had to argue with the black skinny Guy working at the register. He rather dance and listen to music on his speaker than help customers. The manager no better. She just let the workers be unprofessional with the customers. I went there to load $1000 on my chime card. He wanted to argue I could only load $750. He would not even try loading the other $500. The manager tried and like I knew I could load a make of $1000 a day $500 a time. Hire employees that know their job. It's not his home. Save the music and dancing for the break"
"Despicable! Jan 2 my doctor called in a prescription for me before 5 pm. I followed up about 6:30 to inquire the status as this was the first time, I was getting a prescription from there. A woman answered the phone who mentions that the prescription would be ready in approximately 90 minutes with no mention of anything else. When I get there to my surprise I was informed the insurance did not cover the medication. Luckily, I arrived at the pharmacy by 9:30 PM as I was smart enough to call back and check pharmacy hours because the woman also did not inform me that the 90 minute was close to their closing at 10 pm. Please note this medication is for the flu, which anybody who works in the pharmacy should be well aware of these medications and their purpose. Unfortunately, even after waiting nearly 3 hours upon my arrival I still had to wait another 30 minutes with barely any customers picking up medications. I was advised to wait as they would look for me when my medicine was ready. I’m guessing at about 9:59 the gates for the Pharmacy start rolling down. I jump up as fast as my body could allow, and asked what’s going on, as I didn’t get my medicine. I was sitting right outside the pharmacy counter on their provided waiting area. Which if you don’t know this location it’s visible from their counter space. The woman lies to my face to say that she was looking for me. I will be contacting head quarters. One other employee mentioned that it’s not their fault that insurance doesn’t cover the medication, as I explain to this ignorant employee, it wasn’t about whether the insurance covers the medication or not. It’s about the fact that they didn’t make any effort to contact me as I’ve experienced before on many occasions in my dealings with CVS. and other pharmacies. My one experience here shows me that trying to do business closer to my location turned out not to be worthwhile. I rather drive a little further away and get treated respectfully as a human. I hope they get shut down and new management."
"Worst driver thru pharmacy ever. They make you wait 30 min before anyone comes to the window. Workers are rude and ghetto. I've never seen any Walgreens like this ever in any other borough. It's disgraceful and there's always an excuse why they make you wait so long. I'm waiting as I'm typing. I rung the bell 5 times and nobody has even said we will be right with you. There's a few cars behind me waiting."
"Completely unprofessional and DISORGANIZED Pharmacy. I along with multiple other customers were told to wait 30 minutes for prescriptions that should have been there. Then the pharmacy refused to give me my prescription after I showed them multiple forms of insurance and called my doctor. The white Blond pharmacist proceeded to curse at my mother. She best watch her mouth. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN."
"I’ve been A Walgreens customer for over 40 years. Both in New York and in Florida. The service has always been exceptional. The Soundview Ave., Walgreens has the worst service that I’ve ever experienced I am so sorry they closed the pharmacy on Westchester Square they were an example of what Walgreen should be like. They obviously need more help in the Soundview location. Even their phone service is ridiculous. My doctor held on. Over in an hour, just to fill a prescription for me! Please assign more knowledgeable, courteous people to that location"
