Checkout experience generally courteous although one tends to sense a latent and covert obnoxious attitude in some associates. Check it out if you have to."

"I'm here at least 5 times a weeks and EVERY time, most of the prices are wrong!!! Tonight was the last straw! Items that were marked as $1.49 rang up as $2.49! That's 66.6% more!!! I walked the cashier back to the display and he was bewildered! I told him it happens EVERY TIME I COME IN! He didn't know how to fix it so I left and now I'm going to the bodega!!! It's not an accident! Duane Reade has been screwing us for years and most people don't notice!!!"

"Typical for a duane reade, slow service, shelves that need restocking,etc. It is decently well lit. Have most of what you need unless its waiting to be restocked. Sodas are way overpriced. Today it was so hot in here that I started sweating while in the store."
