They almost agress you when you ask for a product that they keep under lock like the gold in fort Knox, so you have No choice but to call for an employee, which obviously upsets them as they are not happy to move their a... and work. Never Say Hello or respond when you thank them for the very little thing they are paid to do"

"The pharmacy used to be decent, it just declined so dramatically recently and it’s very sad the neighborhood. I didn’t get the notification my prescription is ready so I came in to check, they did receive the prescription but just didn’t do anything. I waited 15 mins to get to the front of the line then was told I have to wait 30 mins so I waited, then I came back to wait in line and was told nothing was done in the computer record earlier so I have to wait again. Can you imagine how much effort it takes for a prescription pick up? Valley drug is 1000 times better, go there instead"

"Do not go to Duane Reade for vax shots - they do not honor the appointment times! (2864 Broadway location) Waited OVER an hour past my appointment time. People at register kept saying it’s really up to the pharmacist and when she’s ready. Why are there appointments if it’s up to the pharmacist?!?!?! Elder people were waiting over an hour and ended up leaving unvaccinated- awful. Pharmacist finally came out and saw me first since I decided to stick around. The room where the shots are conducted is completely a mess. Didn’t feel sanitary. She seemed like a mess too. I didn’t trust her and checked the vial to make sure I was receiving the correct vaccine. Then she jabs my arm and blood started gushing down my arm and on the floor. She had 0 supplies ready to remediate the situation. She got a container of wipes and then told ME to open it. It was empty… Then she handed me a bag of cotton balls, like literally cotton balls I’d use to wipe makeup off my face - not gauze. A bag of cotton balls where multiple people’s hands were probably in. I take one out and attempt to wipe my arm with…a cotton ball. She couldn’t find the band aids while I was trying to wipe everything down. How does she not have band aids ready?!?! It’s like she never gave someone a shot before! She finally got the band aid and I bolted. Screw the 15 min waiting period post-shot - no one would even have time to see me if I felt sick afterwards! Do not waste your time here!! I need to figure out who to complain to. But probably won’t matter…."

"The pharmacy is delaying patient care with consistency and attitude. The front desk person in the pharmacy (Sept 11th, 9:00 am) is far from competent, does not respond to urgent patient needs, such as providing a toddler with an asthma attack with life saving medication, and asks you to "wait" indefinitely with no other customers around. I had to call the pharmacist and ask to prioritize the prescription. Even then, what you get is a careless delay complemented with a dysfunctional keypad handed to you to enter your phone number for the 5th time while your child is suffering at home. Duane Reade should immediately fire this person and have a serious look at that department before continuing to claim that it's a "pharmacy". Shame."
