"I honestly can't believe what just transpired in this store. I bought 2 cards. And the person behind the register rang them both up twice. I told him that was wrong obviously. The rude older women behind me on line made a big scene they had to wait for the manager to fix it. Manager comes over. Removes 1 charge. I'm like that's still not right. He insists it is even though it's literally on the screen the other charge. At this point, line is around the store. I'm like whatever and pay and leave. The MANAGER yells at me to not come back as I walk out of the store! I'm floored. You still overcharged me and have the audacity to tell ME not to come back? This trash store should be closed indefinitely. Customer service is never good here (don't even get me started on the woman in the pharmacy), but this was so egregious, others should beware."

"DO NOT COME HERE FOR PRINTS!!! This is literally the first ever Google review I’ve written because I am so so disappointed. I wanted to not write this review for the longest time, but I have wasted so much time (hours) making print orders on multiple occasions and the staff fails to help me. They only have “one picture lady” that knows how to do the prints while everyone else is clueless. One time, I spent 1 hour standing and processing my prints for my Dad’s birthday present scrapbook only to be told that they do not know how to print. Second time, the main lady Theresa showed me the promo of 60% discount on some prints only for her to charge me the standard price because she thinks that’s already with the 60% discount (I paid $100+ for five prints so her math means that I should’ve paid almost $200). She still did not believe me after I showed her a pic of the screen with the discount applied. Lastly, I went here today and another lady told me that the machine was not working, even though I only wanted to pay for the large prints that will be SHIPPED to the store, not printed. She tells me “do you not see the screen?? It is obviously not working right now.” And when I tried to apologize, she walked away and said “Next in line! NEXT IN LINE!” while I was just trying to ask when the next lady will come in. Also, the place is very LOW STOCKED most times, so I’m very sorry that I’m writing this, just unfriendly and clueless staff."

"Today a coworker and I walked into this Duane Reade store to purchase water and snacks, being that we were attending class nearby. While walking to the back of the store two employees one being a manager, alerted another employee to watch myself and my coworker. I picked up a few items and went directly to the register and paid. After paying I walked around looking for my coworker, which she explained concerns of being followed throughout the store. I then explained to her the same concern. I went to look for the manager and the other employee to explain to them how unprofessional this was and how uncomfortable it made us feel. This has nothing to do with race being that we all are African American, but more of being unprofessional and lack of training. Just remember every African American female that carries large purses aren’t thieves, we carry books and other personal items in those bags."

"Horrible store leadership. Theft every single day. Favoritism . Non appreciation for leadership. Esm told me I was bugging before unprofessional. No hours for employees. District Manager Anna not interested in the store. Store Manager accusing managers of theft but allowing other team members to not do bag checks. Adjusting peoples hours that they got paid. Horrible store. Former Manger. Celling leaking broken bottom beer cases. Broken stuff around the store. Call outs like crazy. Racist will put the Hispanic people on the register. And accuse black people of stealing. Short registers, Heavy workload. They think it’s ok to put up 20 Dollie’s with 3 people on a shift. Disappearing staff on shifts. Shoplifters are threatening and hitting employees. Coolers to the right of the store are hitting 70. Degrees. Buttons not working for guests to receive items out the case!"
