"The worst customer service at the pharmacy!! Don’t ever come here for prescriptions or vaccinations because you will wait for ever and deal with rude employees."
"I went in 20 minutes before they’re closing and asked the receptionist for my prescription. After I gave her my personal information, she walked toward to the pharmacist who’s too busy with her phone on that Facebook home page. She then told the man, who just came back from cleaning the garbage to prepare the pills for me. And I didn’t see he washed his hands right after cleaning the garbage or before counting the pills for me. Once he’s done, he handed the bottle to the pharmacist who’s still too busy with her phone the whole time then she just took out a pill and made a quick look( so I hope she did confirm that’s the right pills). She then handed it to the receptionist, went right back to her phone immediately. And the receptionist was Looking at her phone the whole time when she’s walking to me, it’s like 5 steps away but she couldn’t leave her eyes off the phone. WOA, I feel like I was in a cell phone store and everyone of them are testing on their phones. Totally disrespectful and unprofessional! Now I am just worried if I am getting the right medication. Horrible experience ever!!!"
"This Walgreens on South Orange the bay road is, perhaps the worst Pharmacy I’ve ever visited in my entire life. It saving grace is the main store itself but the pharmacy is the absolute worst. They lose prescriptions. They never filled them on time and trying to get them on the phone is an absolute impossibility. Don’t even get me started on the drive-through. You’ll be online for 45 minutes. No exaggeration. Now recently I understand there’s a new pharmacy manager and hopefully things will get better but the old one I won’t mention her name was nice enough, but she was just a horrible manager."
"If I could give NO STARS, I WOULD. This store has to be the worst Walgreens around. ZERO customer service in the PHARMACY. I stopped going there years ago. My daughter came home from RI & needed to get a prescription filled. I waited over 45 minutes for someone to pick up. It didn't happen. I drove to the store & there were three pharmacists working while the phone was ringing off the hook. I have to say, the reason we pursued Walgreens is because Good Rx showed they offered a $18.24 with their coupon for this $177 script at Walgreens. It is a no brainer. Everyone does this now. Why should we pay outrageous costs when you have Good Rx & Mark Cuban's Cost Plus Rx around. None of the pharmacists picked up the ringing phone & allowed it to just ring and ring. I explained why i needed to speak with the pharmacist. The pharmacist listened and helped to get the script to be dispensed up in RI. Thank you, end of service needed. I later called back & waited 35 minutes while they said there were three callers ahead of me, then two, then me. I was disconnected. I am at my desk and working while waiting so now big deal. I redialed and again waited another 35 minutes and disconnected. I called the Walgreens in RI and they picked up on the third ring & confirmed the script was there after searching her personal information. The Script was sent with some wrong information making it almost impossible to find. They simply avoid answering their phone. Close up shop or hire someone to help out."
"UPDATE: It's now been 55 minutes and I'm still on hold. This is by far the worst pharmacy experience you will ever have. Need to call to speak with the pharmacist? Leave yourself at least 45 minutes to an hour to stay on hold. As I write this, I am on hold and have been for exactly 32 minutes. Still says there's one person ahead of me. And this is every time I call. Sometimes, I give up and drive to the store and wait in the long line just to ask my question -- and most of the time they don't have an answer. Are they understaffed? Maybe. Are they poorly trained? Possibly. But this place is the absolute worst."
