"I’ve been meaning to write a review of this pharmacy for a while now. In two years I think they’ve had my medicine ready once or twice. I’m usually made to wait there no matter how many times I’ve gotten contacted that my meds were ready.Forget about calling them. No one ever picks up. I’ve actually had many frustrating experiences with this location, but have stayed with them for two reasons. One is because it’s the only place around that covers one of my prescriptions. The other is the staff. I can tell they’re super busy and short handed, but they’re Usually cordial and many instance even while stressed will greet me with a smile. Today especially I had Hunter, an employee there help me out with one of my prescription. They were about to close for their break and Hunter really went out of their way to get my medication filled because I wasn’t able to wait the half hour for their break. I am going away for a few days so I would have been without my meds since I was so pressed with time. They definitely need more staff at this location, but I can’t remember ever having had a bad experience with an employee there. Hunter thank you again for going above and beyond. I was really about to be done with this location and it was just a good reminder that the staff there does work hard and tries their best. I gave four stars, but my experience today was a five star experience. It’s just I’ve been meaning to give this place one star for the longest because of my usual interaction of them never having my meds ready. So to be fair to the staff and my normal experience I gave four. CVS needs to hire more people and give their current staff a raise."
"This store is a hot mess. Hunter, the woman pictured, cursed in front of me and harassed another customer over a raincheck. Kawan, the manager on duty, supported Hunter's nasty and unprofessional behavior. Hunter tried to record me and the other customer, and that's against CVS policy. This store is the worst. Don't spend money at this store which should be named Hood Rats R Us."
"Hunter, the supervisor on duty, violated CVS policy by refusing to take my raincheck and by calling the police on me. She lied and said I was belligerent and harassing her though that wasn't true. Adding insult to injury is Nivita, the other employee pictured, who claimed I intimidated them. It's a good thing I recorded some of the interactions, which show me harassing no one. Please be careful if you see these two employees as you don't want to be accused of criminal acts whilst trying to purchase beverages."
"Nothing but empty shelves. What the heck is happening to CVS is NYC? Ever since the beginning of the 2020 The Bronx CVS has nothing but empty shelves. When I want or need something for emergency purposes I need a pharmacy/ a retail store that has items available. Then CVS has the nerve to send discount coupons weekly. Exactly how??? I can't purchase anything from Allerton or Pelham Parkway stores. CVS needs to stock their stores properly and remove "store associates" who are not helpful to customer and that includes the pharmacy section as well."
"I learned not to have prescriptions sent here. It’s like the hunger games getting anything from this pharmacy. Today I had to wait 45 minutes in this line (only one cashier) to find out they don’t have any allergy meds in stock. They just haven’t bothered to remove the cards from the shelf to spare customers the frustration. Not to mention the lack of basic supplies. You’d think since the Walgreens closed and this is the only option, they’d have hired more staff. Nope. Always “sorry we’re understaffed”. I Feel as sorry for the people working there as I do for the customers. Terrible situation and feckless management. STAY AWAY."
