"One of the worst supermarkets I ever been to. Hispanic employees are racist to black customers and seem to be proud of it. Just shows how unprofessional they are and how poorly they are raised as individuals. I experienced better customer service at Whole Foods from white people. Meat section had putred rotten smell walking past it, looked like nasty expired meat. No organic fruits/veggies. Definitely don't support racism or stores that don't sell fresh produce. Won't be back."
"I come here all the time and I just went a little before they closed and the guy at the door told me I couldn’t come in. Mind you I just saw them let some lady in. This other lady with kids runs up and asks them to come in and they open the door for her. So I walk back into view and they tell me no again but the door is still open so I just walked in anyway to grab my 1 item that was right in front of the register. I just want to know why they told me no but let those 2 other women come in?? I will definitely not be going back here again! Cause that’s ridiculous, if the answer is no then it should be no for everyone!"
"There was food with mold, especially the bread, and was at simple view. The service customer so bad, she didn’t ask me if I wanted a bag before pay, and after I payed she want me to pay at bag cause I didn’t have one. She yelled at me as if she was my mom. I just took my food on my arm and left."
"Very racist! I’m a black woman who came to this location with the indication that they close at 10pm. When I get there 9:02pm the gentlemen said no we are closed. Meanwhile he let a Hispanic family in literally 1 minute before me. On top of that they had no signs to indicate they were closing early today and per usual when someone of no Latino background spoke he acted as though he couldn’t understand. Below is the front of the store with NO hours change or indication. The flyer he gave me also said they close at 10. When I asked for the manager he gave me to supermarket store to call."
"I went to the Cherry Valley Marketplace at 421 E 189th St, Bronx, NY 10458 earlier today 11/19/2021 to get some vegetables, however what i ended up seeing turned my stomach. The place is disgusting, filthy. They had from what the sign called "Meat sales" where they package meats from different animals together and sell; Pork,Beef, and Poultry in ONE package. They are also selling raw beef packaged with vegetables. Everything in the meat section is disgusting, its as if the surfaces do not get cleaned. Furthermore, there were signs of pest infestation. There was also a cat on premises at the time of my visit."
