"Always fresh and cheaper than chain grocery stores. Meets my needs."
"Convenient. Reasonable prices. Usually some good meat specials available. Relatively short lines. Limited selection"
"Working for this save lot was jaw dropping experience manager was allowed scream and yell at me over clocking in on time from lunch when I brought it up to store manager nothing was done your hours will be cut for nothing if store manager doesn't like you but lazy workers will be given hours people who call off all time will get ton more hours. don't even think of asking about your hours store manager will make up lie say she will fix them then never do it stay clear of this business it's turn over rate is nuts and management will lie to you !"
"This store is ALWAYS clean and stocked. We prefer this store to the one a bit closer to our house. Staff are helpful and polite. We enjoy shopping here!"
"I had to change my rating. I used to like Save-A-Lot because it was locally owned. I like to support local businesses. But this location is very unprofessional. I bought a loaf of Al Cohen rye bread there. When I got home I noticed there was a huge air pocket in the loaf on the one end. When you're paying $0.30 a slice that's not good. I returned to the store and whoever was in charge gave me the most difficult time. All I wanted was a replacement loaf. He argued with me for over 2 minutes that the loaf was not defective. He accused me of opening the loaf. He finally allowed me to get a new loaf after all that aggravation. Let's get real would I take a good loaf of bread mess it up to return it just to get another good loaf of bread. I will never use the store again even though I live on the same street."
