Happy Planet Day Care

"Bad place, with hostile atmosphere. Kids of all possible ages, including strange relatives with their own children, all stay in the same small room, where kids are supposed to sleep, eat and play. The owners, staff are unprofessional, unfriendly and primitive. A sort of communication is going only with parents of their nationality (Tadzhikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, etc) and the same religion (Muslim, my guess). Baseless overconfidence, no one good word, negative and arrogant attitude. Conjunctivitis, colds, sickness and other diseases are there all the time. They squeeze out onion to use its drops for kids' noses in time of cold or flu, considering it is as treatment even it's very painful and harmful. There are a lot of really good daycares. Do not be attracted by the location. It is a trap."

"If you're looking for a daycare that is clean, has freshly cooked meals prepped on premisses, accommodating, flexible and understanding, this is the place to be. I am a professional, a speech language pathologist that has had a great pleasure to service kids in this daycare, and i must say i have never worked in such caring yet disciplined environment. I have spent many hours and days acquainting myself with staff and kids, the love and affection that the staff has for the kids that attend this daycare is nothing like i have seen before and i have been to various daycares and seen many different staff. The owners are accommodating, the staff are friendly and kind. I have yet to see a daycare that teaches kids to be independent and kind, they do not only work on academics but also work on improving their social skills. Most importantly they follow up on my recommendations and have over all cleanliness. The main observation i want to mention is how peaceful and happy the kids are in this daycare. I come on different days of the week and have seen "get ready for nap" routines as well as "lunch time" I WAS IN ABSOLUTE AWE. Kids were not crying but instead happily used the bathrooms, changed into their PJs (which have not been seen in other daycares but so important hygienically), and went to sleep. Ive come during lunch hours for feeding sessions, and wow when i said kids learn to be independent, which is so important from SLP perspective in the feeding aspect (use of proper utensils, feeding positions and of course food menu - So appealing) kids were joyfully eating quietly and socially interacted with one another. I was in shock how smooth everything operates over at Happy Planet. I'm super impressed and will with out a doubt recommend for parents to try out this daycare out."

"My boys have been attending happy planet day care since oct2018 and have been doing very well there. Angela takes such good care of my boys as if they were her own and they love going to day care everyday. They come home learning something new everyday and I couldn’t be more happier. The food is cooked fresh every day and they always partake in fun dancing and music activities. Highly recommend this daycare!"

"Most of the negative reviews from previous owners. I brought my baby when she was 6 month old. She is a happy baby and enjoys to play with her little friends. The place is clean and safe and they try to follow your home routine with your little one which is a big plus. It broke my heart to read a recent review that Anjela is mean. She is always nice and respectful with me and attentive to my baby girl. I was checking other day cares in the area before Happy Planet and was told that they don’t have spots after they saw my baby (she is mixed race) even when they told me on the phone they do before. Anjela and her husband were very happy to accept my baby. They are open minded and modern owners with big and kind heart. You can always take a tour and see for yourself. P.S. When my baby got a little runny nose Anjela was taking care of her and was trying to make her feel comfortable. I do appreciate that."

"Sad to see the low ratings. My daughter started to go to Happy Planet after they changed management earlier this year. They kept the same name, but the bad reputation should not stay with them. The new owners are a young couple and speak good English. I don't know how it was like before the change of management, but Angela (the current main teacher) is very attentive and thoughtful, and the other teachers are well trained and experienced too. This is my daughter's first daycare, and they make her feel very safe and comfortable. Only after 2 days she stopped crying and asked to go to school everyday. She made friends and ate well daily (gained some weight!) I have recommended the school to other parents and they also enjoy the experience there. If you had any doubts, you should just go to talk to the owners and get a tour, and your guts will tell you if this is the right place for your child."
