"Our family wants to Thank Ms. Arvinder and Ms. Gurinder at Kumon. My 8 yo has fallen behind in Math. She was taking a long time to do her work and if the teacher called on her she would have the wrong answer in front of her whole class. It would embarrass her and she would put her head down and cry. She has been with Ms. Gurinder for about 2 months and this week she was the only one in her class that got 100 on her Math test! Kumon has helped her tremendously. Now she’s excited to get called on because she knows the answers. My 11 yo is taking the Reading/English to help with her Reading especially out loud reading. She has not only improved in her out loud reading but her hand writing is nicer as well. Both my children are excited about learning instead of feeling anxious. These results have exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend Kumon."

"My son is David Perkins. He is currently in 4th grade, and has been in resource since Kindergarten. Just before he started at Kumon last June, David was still evaluated at a Kindergarten reading level. His math was also poor. I have had gone to many tutors prior to KUMON. David had a very poor opinion of school. He had been struggling with ADHD, and behavior issues. He would go out of his way to avoid doing work. It broke my heart to see him struggle and lose self confidence. Parent-teacher conferences would mostly be a negative experience. In 3rd grade, most of his teachers would tell me that he was not focused or acting up. Overall, not a good 3rd grade year. Since Kumon, David has grown tremendously in both reading and math. He worked very hard over the summer. I have noticed the change, but was counting the days until school started to see what his teachers would say. I could not believe it when his resource teacher called me to say that she would have to "increase David's reading goals to a higher level due to his over all improvement". And this was only after the FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL! At the parent teacher conference, I saw David's work-paragraphs of beautiful writing on the wall. His resource teacher told me she has noticed an "over all improvement in both reading, and behavior." His Music teacher told me that he was like "Night and Day". His homeroom teacher said he was "Great to have in class and shown improvement in reading". For the first time, I left a parent-teacher conference in tears-(Happy ONES)!!!!!! THANK YOU KUMON!!!!!!'
