The Barn of Chapel Hill at Wild Flora Farm

"We recently got married at the Barn and had a wonderful experience! The venue staff was very responsive to our questions and allowed us to visit the property several times during the planning process. In addition to being incredibly beautiful, the Barn offers an “all in one” experience (e.g., spaces for the wedding party to get ready, plenty of photo locations, multiple ceremony space and cocktail hour options). The florals provided by Wild Flora Farms were also absolutely beautiful! The florist, Christine, took the time to learn about our preferences and vision for the wedding day. She clearly understood our vision, because the florals were perfect and even more beautiful than we could have imagined! Many guests have commented that our wedding was one of the most beautiful they’ve seen, and I think that our florals played a major role in that!"

"Our wedding coordinator/designer helped us put together a very minimal floral order through this farm for our Indian wedding. We were extremely last minute, but they still pulled through with beautiful flowers. We loved the bud vases that we incorporated into our centerpieces (and the fact that you can actually keep the vases at the end!!). That being said, the most important part of our wedding/flower order was our ceremonial garlands and they just turned out awful. They were sagging and didn't even last the duration of the 45-minute ceremony. We paid over 100 for each garland and feel really disappointed as they were one of the most important parts of the wedding, and we had hoped to wear them for our reception as well. It was also disappointing as they advertise for jaimalas on their website. I would definitely recommend this florist for a western wedding if you have more "traditional" wedding needs but would definitely not recommend them for unique needs of cultural celebrations. EDIT: The founder reached out to us and refunded the garlands after seeing the photos. She also acknowledged that this doesn't change the fact that we didn't have them for our family portraits/reception, but we appreciated the gesture and accountability!"

"We absolutely loved the Barn of Chapel Hill, and we're so happy we had our wedding here. From start to finish, the entire BOCH staff was incredibly helpful. Kara was able to answer all of our questions, worked great with all of our vendors, and made sure everything was set for the big day. Christine, our florist and creative director, was able to see our vision, even when we weren't so clear about it. On the day, the BOCH team had everything set so that we could enjoy the moment. The venue is beautiful, the outdoor setting was great for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and the inside of the Barn was perfect for our reception. We knew as we stood at the top of the stairs that the Barn of Chapel Hill was where we wanted to get married, and we're so happy we trusted our gut."

The venue was absolutely gorgeous! The florals were so ridiculously beautiful it was hard to believe they were real! Such an incredible venue."

"We hosted our June 2018 wedding here and loved everything about it. The venue was gorgeous, bright, large and had lots of options to make the day ours. It's a scenic drive through the country to this restored historic barn on a flower farm. Kara was responsive for visits before the big day and was able to answer all of our questions with a lot of care. We also loved working with the in house florist Jennifer, she did a custom hanging install over our head table that was amazing! Thank you for making our wedding day so special, I can not recommend this team and venue enough!"
