"I live in Medford, NY and I visited the Ecology Center for the walking path, to see the grounds and I have to say, that animal enclosure is shameful! Although the staff is pleasant, those animals are kept in the smallest cages, 3 Deer in a tiny enclosure, 3! These animals run around they're entire life, these deer were sprawled out in the little bit of shade they had, miserable. The Eagle? What a magnificent bird, again smallest enclosure, same for the bobcat. The Llamas? Laying out in the burning sun, no shade for these animals either. With all that land, why can't they make that enclosure bigger for those precious animals? Why do they have to live like that? Please, take into consideration their quality of life, they deserve better. The rest of the Ecology Center is beautiful, manicured lawns, walking path, calisthenics accessibility, beautiful place to workout outside. Either make the animal enclosure bigger or set those animals free."
