"3 deliveries not delivered. 1 was put in my mailbox, not to house. 2 other orders left by the street & never found. This area is mountainous & FedEx vehicles should have 4 or all wheel drive. I have a small Honda and access my house via driveway every day. Please notify recipient if you can't do your job so I can try to find packages before they're stolen. UPS has no problem delivering to the house to the table outside my front door. The driver beeps to alert us of delivery. I've asked vendors to use UPS, not FedEx. If FedEx is too cheap to provide functional vehicles and/or pay drivers a living wage, they should go out of business."
"I've had 2 consecutive packages that weren't delivered from this site. In both cases, the driver reported that he left the package in or by our mailbox, but we don't have a mailbox. I contacted FedEx and reported this on 28 October, and followed up again today - I was told my case was closed. When I finally got through to a representative, they told me it was closed because the package was delivered to my mailbox. We have been receiving packages from them for the past few months, but suddenly they can't find our house. I'm very disappointed with the service from the FedEx Ground service. So far, we've had excellent service from FedEX Express -but that is from a different site."
"Since Bryson City folks cant read that this is a drop off location within Walgreens - I'll give a little pointer about FedEx Drivers....since I was one. And I hated it - worst job ever....because of the customers. It was worse than Amazon Delivery. They are not paid enough! 1. Mark your houses with numbers. It helps not only FedEx but police/fire/rescue personnel too. You want your stuff delivered? Mark your house so it can be found. We all live in private one lane gravel in the woods with no distinguishable landmark cul-de-sacs over here. 2. FedEx Ground (green) are Contractors. FedEx Express (Purple and Orange) are actual FedEx employees. Don't confuse them. Express has insurance that covers drivers if they twist an ankle delivering to your porch after they walk thru your gate . Ground (green) doesnt - Green Drivers can't walk past closed gates. You want your stuff on the porch? Open the gate. Them's the rules. Don't like it - Call corporate in Memphis, TN. Nasty-Gram Google reviews for a Walgreens drop-off changes nothing. 3. Don't order what you can't lift. Green has a 110 pound limit. 83 years old? Probably should either call your kids/grandkids for help or order lighter packages. 4. Fedex Ground don't have 4 wheel drive (the green trucks) Fedex Express (the purple/orange trucks) do have 4 wheel drive. However FedEx Express only delivers up to 25 pounds. Fedex Ground delivers up to 110lbs."
"Delivery person honked the horn then left the package on the back corner of a friend's pick up truck. Anyone driving by could have taken it had I not been home. Driver did not even make sure someone got the package. I never have had any trouble with UPS, never. Driver leaves a package by my front door, knocking first. Also uses the horn."
"We have had a great Fed X driver who until recently delivering here. I met a new one a few days ago who was very kind and helpful so I think the one that delivered today must be a woman or a new so called man. I believe a real man would have known better than to do what this one did. Instead of placing the pkg on the porch that was 3 ft away, they put it on the ground where it is impossible for us 83 yr olds to get it up and where it will rain on it before someone comes to help us get it up. I call that pure laziness and hope you will send a better person here next time. I am furious. Send our old driver back"
