"I had a terrible experiance this week with this office and everyone in it so much so i have started the process to switch doctors. my son woke up with croup cough wednesday morning so i called and asked for an emergancy sick visit so they can call in steriods and was told its just a cough dont bring him in. but what if its croup? i was told to wait 24 hours. so delay my son 24 hours of a script. i was told in the meantime to give tylenol, zarbees and vicks i spent $40 cash on that for nothing. it didnt get better. i also asked for a dr note for school and was told they only give notes if you come in- but they wouldnt let us come in. i asked for a phone apt or video visit and was told no. still wasnt getting better so i called asking to come in and was told to go to the ER. my son isnt dying, hes not injured. he has an infection in a cough and needs a script thats it. i had to call several times and speak to several people before they agreed to let us come in 36 hours later and what do you know- he was diagnosed with croup and was given his script but they sent it to the wrong pharmacy so it took an extra 4 hours and 5 calls to get them to send it to the right place. and when we were in the office they had 3 people come in- assistant, resident, and dr and all 3 each took my AUTISTIC sons vitals. .....i understand vitals are important so i let the m.a. do it the first time. i helped her. because my son was flipping out so very very very very badly. then a resident comes in and i say oh no, ive repeated our story 20 times im not explaining it to you and then in 2 hours when the actual dr comes in, to her again so if i have to tell you both please go get her. she said shell relay the story. so i tell her. she takes his vitals and again its tourturing my already sick autistic baby. so badly. i helped again. and yeah two hours of being there the dr comes in for more vitals. WHY?! so i stopped her and said no more. enough. no need for 3 rounds of vitals for croup. hes FINE. hes laughing eating drinking playing/ hes not dying. his vitals are normal they are good. and she looked offended. and she was pushing a certain medicine i knew wouldnt work i had to beg for the version i wanted for my son. they should be ashamed at how badly i had to beg and fight and repeat myself for croup. so if ur kids sick they wont let u bring them in they wont call in meds or give a sick note for school."
