"The Chautauqua County Fair is better then in the past. Hopefully no fighting will happen. Gorgeous day for the Fair. The food vendors are ok, I seen no Plan Hotdogs or burgers anywhere. Sad! Not to bad over all."
"Waffles were the only thing that I liked. Had the steak sandwich which tasted good, but I took it home to eat and the roll was all mushy by the time I ate it. Not their fault. Probably won't attend the fair again, way too much money."
"Nostalgic visit today. Last time I was there was with my Dad 15 years ago. Our family since 1972 has owned a food concession. The Dunkirk fair was one of our yearly stops. That day He got to see many people that knew him. He passed two months later. The fair has gotten much smaller over the years but it still holds a special place in our hearts. It was not busy this afternoon but business picked up quite a bit for the demo derby."
"The rides were pretty good with reasonable lines for a Friday evening. Smaller fair than past year's, but still had the standard fair attire. Fries were tasty and large as usual. Demolition derby was enjoyable although due to injuries (and no replacement ambulance), there was a long pause in the middle. Beautiful sunset while we were waiting though."
"Best family fair, new ride vendor is a big improvement over the last one, no rides broken down for any extended time and the ride operators for this company are much nicer than the last vendor. Demo derby is great as always. Both of them. Live stock barns are excellent, welcoming for non farm folks! would still love to see a high quality show added to punch the entertainment up a bit. Needs at least one air conditioned building for older or folks with health problems to rest and recover on hot July days. buy your pre sale tickets next year at frosty treat in irving and save $5 a ticket and get a free ice cream cone! Love this fair, Nationally recognized by USA today as one of the top 10 family fairs in the country!"
