"Short walk, .2 miles from the parking lot parking is limited."
"Medina Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in the village of Medina, New York. The water in the creek goes under the Erie Canal in an aqueduct before the water goes over the falls. There is a decent size canal towpath to take to view the falls. Admission is free to enter. The one unfortunate aspect is that the water and area surrounding the falls has been quite dirty in the past. People need to be responsible for their trash!"
"Great place for kayaking with a nice view of the falls."
"The water falls are beautiful! The walk isn't easy and the path was overgrown. Though there is a wooden ladder to go down and skip a bit of the path but it isn't secured to the wall so be careful."
"The paved pathways that line this central area of the canal in Medina village are ♿️ accessible. You can view the hidden falls from this partially rough (in some portions), though ♿️ do-able, concrete path. The Glen that "hides" the falls can be accessed by fishermen & able-bodied persons by climbing down a wood ladder (not town approved, at your own risk) into the wild-woodsy paths in the lower glen to reach the bottom of the falls. This village canal area is a popular daily walking, bicycling location with locals & has restaurants & other businesses within walking distance surrounding it and picnic tables scattered throughout the village canal area. In summer season, there are also rental water bikes, boards, canoes, etc available to rent."
